Initial vocational training is an important building block in the overall personnel strategy of the pelzGROUP. We have been very active in the vocational education sector for decades and successfully train professionals within our own company year after year.

The talents of tomorrow play an important role for us: in our company, we train in a total of ten different vocations and we offer our trainees a wide range of attractive employment benefits.

Internships

Take the opportunity and find out what your future training company looks like: over a period of two weeks or more, you will get a good overview of the training departments. Within a period of two weeks or more you will get a good insight into the training departments. We offer the following internships:

  • Business internships
  • Voluntary internships
  • Mandatory internships
  • We have a partnership with the Poul-Due-Jensen School in Wahlstedt

We are very practice-oriented: If you apply for a business-technical apprenticeship, after a successful interview, we will plan a trial internship for you.

Apply as early as possible because the internship period takes place at the same time at many schools.

Apply to the pelzGROUP and together we will investigate how the content of your studies can be translated into an exciting and multi-faceted internship. Connect your theoretical knowledge with practical applications and get to know our day-to-day operations while we advise and support you during your work experience semester, your subject area paper or final thesis, or after your studies are finished.

We work very “hands on” and anyone who would like to take on more responsibility, even during an internship, is welcome to do so.

  • Every year, more than 20 new apprentices start their first training year at our company
  • A total of 50 young people is currently training at the pelzGROUP

Every year, a new class of apprentices launch their careers at the pelzGROUP together during an exciting starter week.

The pelzGROUP offers more:

  • basic training in metal working for technical apprentices
  • forklift driving license for our logistics apprentices
  • Intensive initial trainings and ongoing training courses
  • internal company study groups and tutoring, as and when required
  • intensive exam preparation
  • support for internal company and school-based projects
  • joint projects with other apprentices from all departments
  • exchanges with apprentices from companies with which we maintain friendly relations

The first week: a joint start and getting to know the pelzGROUP

  • Team building

  • Work clothing
  • Getting to know superiors and team members
  • Fire protection assistant training
  • First Aid training

With us, you are never alone

  • Your work counts
  • From day one, you are a full member of the team and you are integrated into daily operations
  • You receive support and advice from your fellow apprentices and team members
  • Many of our senior employees who work with you on a daily basis have an instructor’s license
  • By providing intensive guidance and mentoring in business and technical areas, we respond to your personal support needs
  • Very good hiring chances after completion of training
  • A shortening of the training period is possible given an appropriate performance at school as well as in the company
  • Opportunity for subsequent studies alongside your career
  • You can also already take on more responsibilities as an apprentice by, for example, becoming involved in the JAV (Jugendauszubildenden-Vertretung [Youth Apprenticeship Council]) or by completing training to become an apprenticeship ambassador
